Capturing the Beauty of Motherhood: Wilmington, Delaware Maternity Photographer

Writer's picture: Ambre PayneAmbre Payne

I’ve been waiting to share that I have added some maternity gowns and new flower crowns to my ever-growing collection of props. A few weeks ago (before this crazy heatwave started) I had the opportunity to work for this beautiful Mama-to-be in Marian Coffin Gardens at Gibraltar. She completely rocked her session, and allowed me to use some of her photos, so I could show off the beautiful new gowns in my collection. When I first purchased them I imagined using them more for in-home studio sessions, but they worked beautifully outside as well.

I find the best time to photograph maternity sessions is usually at about 6-7 months. It’s usually best to book well in advance to get a spot reserved on my calendar. Dad’s and older children can also be included in the session. But sessions can also be a time to focus on the mom-to-be, capturing this special time in their baby’s life.

If you are expecting, and would like to use some one of these beautiful gowns, reach out so we can chat about what you’re looking for, and get your session set-up!
